Pumpkin Patching (At Home This Year)

Sunday we went to the Komp Pumpkin Patch. :) I planted a pumpkin plant, but it didn't really take. All the sudden in a totally different area of the garden this plant starts itself and low and behold...a BIG old pumpkin. How fun. So I think we have decided that every year we will plant our pumpkins and pick them at home. :) It was still fun!!!

Here Josh and Ashlynn are hanging out at the fire/burn pile before we get our pumpkins.

My big girl with her big pumpkin!

Silly bug wanted to sit in the bowls.
Scooping out the gunk!
Helping daddy with her design

All done!!! LOVE THEM!

Umbrella Love

Last Friday I had pictures at Dawson Creek, so my mom met us there to hang out with Ashlynn for a little while for me. When we were all done, Ashlynn decided that my umbrella was a must have. Here are some of the funny pictures. Just documenting the umbrella love.

Ashlynn's Big Girl Room

Ashlynn's new Big Girl room. We are moving the big girlie out of the nursery to the bigger room. We kept the double bed we had in there for her and decorated with Tinker Bell. She loves it. She actually made the move a lot easier then I thought she would. Too bad the cute border came down. Darn it. The last pictures are what it looks like now. Amy is going to help hand a new border. :) YAHOO!

The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button

Someone should always warn the pregnant one that they might cry at the end of this movie or that. Ok..so no one knew we were trying to watch this movie and have had it for a month from net flix, but just never find the time...we finally finished it last night. Loved it. Weird. But different, so I really enjoyed it...up until that end. I knew how it would end...not too hard to figure out, but GEEZ!!! I tell ya. Preggers and sad endings don't mix well.

I used to watch those freaking animal rescue shows while I was pregnant with Ashlynn. Why? Who knows. I love animals and wanted to torture myself? Maybe. But I would sob and sob. Some commercials do that to me right now. I am not as "emotional" as I was with Ashlynn or I don't think I am, but wow...that movies ending. Ouch. :)

*(and a small side note. No matter how hard I try to tell myself that Brad Pitt isn't hot...DANG IT...this movie didn't help with that either. HOT HOT HOT!)

Oh Boy Oh Boy

It is a boy and I am nervous. I would have really told you that this would be another girl. I just thought it was. Not that everything is the same as my pregnancy with Ashlynn or that things are different at all. Just that I guess I wanted a sister for her badly enough, that I was convinced it would just be a girl. Shocked. That is what I am still. I have glimmers of excitement and then go right back into shock. I am well aware of the love fest that I will have for this man child. Just as Josh has for his baby girl. I know I will be as twisted as Amy is for Grant-C. This is just one of the reasons I am nervous. That and the fact that boys are wild and loud and wild. They are different then girls for sure. Not that my daughter doesn't totally take after her Uncle Jeremy and should be called Wormser #2, but she is still girlie too.

But the girls are still winning in numbers here. Out of the 15 grandchildren my parents have (this little guy being #15), the girls are still ahead by 3. I am pretty sure we are all done here (unless Richard starts giving us some). So looks like the girls will rule. On the in-laws side, the boys are winning. Evan, Ashlynn and now this baby boy. So we will have to see what Amanda and Jeremy give us someday. Maybe that will all even out. :)

So here's to boys and girls. Hopefully Ashlynn won't mother her little brother to death and hopefully we all survive until they both are in school. :) I will post ultra sound pictures sooner then later.

TODAY!!! Today Is The Day!!!

We get to (HOPEFULLY) find out if we are having a little bouncing baby boy or a pretty little princess girlie today. I can't wait! 6 more FULL hours to go. Can I make it?!?! Wonder if they will let me call and make an earlier appointment?

Wonder if this little one will be a good baby and show us right away or make us wait for another appointment like Ashlynn did. Oh that little stink. She already knew how to control and make us work, even before she was born. :)

I know there are a bunch of my friends and coworkers that have picked the other path and waited to find out what they are having until the day the baby is born. Everyone has their own way. I have the chance to find out and I am taking it. I want to be able to call this baby by it's name and know that I am going to need more girlie clothes or start all over with boy stuff.

I understand that having your husband say "Oh...it's a ____" when it is born must be amazing, but since we will do a c-section again, Josh won't be seeing it be born until we are holding the baby in our arms. And, we both teared up with excitement and love when we saw that Ashlynn was going to be a girl on the tv monitor.

I am so excited today! That is enough for me! This last 6 hours of not knowing is fun and then the last 20 or more weeks of knowing will be just as fun!! :) YAHOO!
