Easter Saturday At The Fair Grounds

Saturday on Easter weekend we spent with the Komps. First we headed out to the Columbia County Fair Grounds for what Josh lovingly called "the mass egg hunt from hell". Nice. It actually was good. They had the areas blocked off by age groups and I think there were plenty of eggs for all.
Ashlynn loved it. Although I did catch her picking up eggs, shaking them to see if there was anything IN them (candy that is). And if they didn't rattle, she put them back. Um Kiddo! They have some with prizes. Duh. :)
Kallen stayed in one spot, but was dressed up super cute for the day.

Lawson hated the grass. Didn't like the feel of it I guess. So Josh ended up handing him these two eggs and he shook them the rest of the day.

The kids with the bunny. Ashlynn focused on eating candy. The other two...I assume confused. :)

We did a lot last Saturday. It was Jackson's baptism. So proud of you Jacks! We did Ashlynn and Jackson's birthday (after MANY illness delays) and then a little going away party for G.G. LOVE you so much G.G. We will come and see you in La Grande soon!

Back In The Saddle Again *(No More Baby Mullet)

I haven't wanted to cut Lawson's hair yet. He is hardly growing any on top, but once his mean uncles Jeremy and Ryan started calling him Lawson Dirt (aka Joe Dirt) we had to do something about it. So little Lawson (my tiny little not even 14 month old) got his first hair cut. Oh the differences in boys and girls. Ashlynn was nearly 3 by the time I took her in for her first cut and I took her into a professional. Lawson got to sit on my lap while daddy took scissors to him.

I think it turned out pretty cute though. Not bad at all and a little dare I say grown up and handsome. (Shudder, not stop growing up so fast!)
