A Day With The Thayers And The Bergs

Ashlynn and I spend the day on Saturday in Salem. The Bergs went down for the draft and spent the night Friday night. We were going to go to the tulip festival, but the road was slammed with people heading that way, so we skipped it and took a walk on the new pedestrian bridge across the river from West Salem. How pretty. Even got to take Morgan's 6 year and Grant's 4 year pictures. :)

March Of Dimes

Ashlynn and joined the Learning Years girls for the March of Dimes walk Saturday AM. What a fun time. We didn't do the 10 K and felt like the 3 K was too short, so we did it twice. :) FUN!!! THANK YOU EVERY ONE THAT DONATED!!! :)

OUCH

Ashlynn got her first burn. Poor Ashlynn and Poor Grandpa Gary. We went over for pizza and to watch the Blazer game last Friday night (thank you!!!) and Ashlynn attempted to help Grandpa close the oven by pushing in the hot rack. He told her not to touch and to back up, but she didn't listen. So she got an ouchie. It broke Grandpa's heart and hers too, but she is better now. Here is a picture of the burn. OUCH. *(HAD to document it).

Nails With Daddy

Maybe it is love that makes him polish her nails when she asks or maybe it is the cuddle time. He will never tell. But they are sure cute together!!!

How Does Our Garden Grow

Ashlynn and I started our garden back on the 11th. This was our first time using this stuff. And look....it worked out well. Ashlynn wasn't very helpful, but she tried. I will post pictures of the garden planted soon.

A Beach Trip With My Girl

Ashlynn and I headed to Nehalem to spend the night at Leanna and Jeff's place there on the river with Josh last Thursday night. Josh has been doing some work out there and asked if we wanted to take Friday off to spend the night with him. We jumped at the chance to have a fun day at the beach. First ... the animals on the farm. Then off to Cannon Beach for some fun in the cold sun. :) Loved the whole day.




This kid...she isn't afraid of anything...she is picking up the jelly fish. Ewww.

We even fed the seals. Little boogers wanted to splash us the whole time though. So Ashlynn didn't love them too much. I did though. They were super cute.
