Wilson-McCumber Family Reunion

My family reunion was this weekend. Close to our home this time too, at the beautiful Champoeg State Park. I love my family. They are so fun and crazy. We always have such a great time when we are with them. Horse shoes, BBQ Cook off and the auction...GREAT TIMES.

Ashlynn had fun and was very excited when the Bergs came. She wanted to run around with the big kids with Jackson and Ainsley too, but she is still a little too little...maybe next reunion. Josh was shocked that he won the BBQ cook off and we won one of Andrew McCumber's country CDs. FUN TIMES!!! Can't wait!!! Love you all!

Last post for the weekend...we played in the water so much today that Ashlynn's "curls" showed up...here are a few pictures. GROW BABY GROW! How I wish for some curls for this kid!

Sand Island

wow. We have been spending some time on some islands lately. :) We were supposed to go to cousin Jenny's wedding in Walla Walla Washington this weekend, but Josh has been really sick. The kind of sick that makes a 5 hr drive to Walla Walla out of the question. He was down and home all day Thursday and home again on Friday, so by Saturday he had cabin fever too. Our friend Tonya was storing her boat at our place, so we borrowed it for the day and took off to Sand Island right outside of St. Helens. The Bergs called to see if they could borrow our truck today for some bricks they were going to pick up in Scappoose, so we talked them into joining us for a few hours.

Everyone had a fun time. The weather was perfect. Morgan wasn't happy with how fast Uncle Josh was going, but was over that by the time we hit the beach. I wish we owned a boat just for days like this!

We are so sad we missed Jenny's wedding and hope it was everything she dreamed of. Hopefully pictures were taken and we can see them soon.Helping Daddy drive the boat.
